It's time to mail in your quilt!
The best way to send in your quilt is to place it in a plastic bag inside of a sturdy cardboard box that isn't too much bigger than the size of the quilt.

Ship your quilt to:
Blue Ridge Quilt Co.
2000 Riverside Dr. STE 10
Asheville, NC 28804

Please send us the tracking info so we know to be on the lookout for your quilt. You may text this info to 828-649-7877 or email info@blueridgequilt.com.
What to expect next:
Once we receive your quilt, we will either text or email you to let you know that it's arrived safely. From there, it'll be added to our quilting queue storage area. Generally, we don't open the box until it's time to prepare your quilt top and backing for quilting.
If there are any remaining details to go over like thread color or quilting design, we'll touch base with you at that point. Once the quilting is completed, we'll text you to let you know and send you some photos. We'll also email you the invoice, including the cost of return shipping. Once paid, we'll send you the tracking info and your quilt will be on the way home!
✓Press Quilt Top
Press all seams flat and trim excess threads from the quilt top.
✓Backing & Batting
Be sure that backing (and batting, if you're providing) are at least 4" larger than the quilt top on all four sides. Make sure backing fabric is square.
✓Repair
Repair any holes in seams and remove any pins from the fabric (top and/or backing).
✓Don't Baste
Send all layers separately - i.e. do not baste your quilt. All layers are loaded onto the longarm frame individually.
✓Prep Backing
Press backing, including any seams if it's pieced.

✓Consider a stay stitch
A stay stitch is a line of stitching around the perimeter of the quilt (about 1/8" from the edge) that helps keep seams from popping and helps prevent distortion of any bias edges.
