About the event
Star-Stuff Tote Bag by Mandy Andy Designs - a beginner friendly pattern for bag construction, but the challenge and fun part for even more experienced bag makers is in the color and gradient selection of your fabrics. Don't let the tiny blocks intimidate you, we'll be learning a fun trick for quick but precise piecing.
Materials Needed:
-Two pieces of sheer-weight fusible interfacing approximately 20" x 20" either pre-printed grid or draw your own grid of 2.5" squares (8 squares by 8 squares)
-Approximately (128) 2.5" fabric squares
-3/4 yard of lining fabric, plus some extra fabric to make a handful of HSTs (half square triangles) for the center stars
-Soft and stable foam or other foam stabilizer such as Bosal Foam Stabilizer (you need enough for two 17" squares plus about a 6" x 7" piece for the bottom,
